Series Statement
Across imagined terrains, beings from distant worlds find one another. Their arrival is quiet, tentative at first—yet filled with possibility. They greet without language, without shared history, guided only by instinct and curiosity. Difference becomes a point of contact, not division.
Each image brings together fragments that were never meant to coexist: textures, forms, and stories from elsewhere. Through collage, these encounters take shape. Difference remains, yet connection forms around it. In these moments, identity is not fixed; it is expanded, altered through contact.
This series reflects on the beauty of meeting what we do not yet understand—the courage to welcome the unexpected, and the transformation that follows. In a world often defined by borders and caution, Welcome, Stranger! imagines a different kind of first encounter.
