Flora Inexacta
For centuries, artists have turned to flowers as subjects of beauty and symbols of impermanence. From still lifes of the Dutch masters to modernist abstractions, they have been painted, studied, and reimagined as reflections of our own fleeting lives. We are drawn to them not only for their color and form, but for their ability to hold meaning across time.
Flora Inexacta continues this tradition in a contemporary language. These works resemble flowers yet resist full recognition. Petals dissolve into liquid edges, blossoms fracture into impossible geometries, beyond the natural. They are modern artifacts of an ancient fascination.
