Feathered Symmetry

Feathered Symmetry

A poetics of pairing.

This series captures imagined avian forms in moments of suspended stillness—elegant pairs that exist somewhere between taxonomy and dream. They echo one another not in perfect reflection, but in mood, posture, and presence.

Some communicate in gesture, others in contrast. They may be kin, companions, or simply cohabitants of a shared, imagined plane. Each pair holds a quiet tension: intimacy without certainty, balance without symmetry.

Set against soft, atmospheric grounds, these creatures become sculptural—floating between realism and reverie, nature and design. Their presence offers a sense of calm, but always with a trace of strangeness.

These aren’t birds to name. They’re conversations to observe.
