The inspiration for this series was a photograph I took while we were on a walk in late winter. There was an amazing ice formation that was so beautiful. The images in this series are extensions of that ice formation image.
The Shape of Arrival is a terrain glimpsed mid-transition—folded, unresolved. This is not the destination, but the recognition of nearing. A moment where everything quiets, just long enough to be seen.
Materials and Process
Each Glitch Atelier edition is produced as an archival pigment print. Unframed prints are printed on Hahnemühle German Etching, a heavyweight 100% cotton rag paper prized for its rich texture and museum-grade longevity.
