The Subterranean Couture collection is a speculative study in adaptive aesthetics, capturing imagined subterranean figures whose instinctive garments—woven from the remnants of human life—express a quiet evolution shaped by observation, survival, and the unexpected poetics of repurposed form.

The Verdant Tentacular thrives in abandoned tunnels near botanical gardens and fashion districts. Active before dawn, it features a luminous green dome head and sensory tentacles used for gathering materials. Known for its boldness and fashion interest, it often studies magazines and ads left behind. Its textile adaptation is striking—pleated garments blending designer fabric scraps, subway maps, and umbrella pieces. This limited edition captures a rare full-body view of one of the collection’s most intricate specimens. 

Materials and Process
Each Glitch Atelier edition is produced as an archival pigment print. Unframed prints are printed on Hahnemühle German Etching, a heavyweight 100% cotton rag paper prized for its rich texture and museum-grade longevity.
